Experiencing end of summer anxiety? Wet Electric is the cure. The 21+ event invades Huntington Beach this year, where the Southern California coastline is amplified with inflatable slides, zip lines, art installations and world class DJs. Leading the electronic charge are veteran EDM artists Erick Morillo, Paul Oakenfold, and Robbie Rivera, backed by a strong supporting lineup that includes Chris Garcia, vocalist Nadia Ali, and SoCal’s own Josh Billings. While the move to Huntington Beach could be considered risky—after all, ocean safety doesn’t generally include cocktails and raucous partying (and the riot potential)—the poetic nature of ending summer on the sand is extremely appealing. Throw in celebrated DJs, wave pools, and scantily clad twenty-somethings and the reward is great. Wet Electric champions the vibe of summertime and could end up being the party of the season.
