Kings of the “cycle-delic sound,” Davie Allan N the Arrows soundtracked several low-budget biker flicks (Born Losers , The Wild Angels , etc.), a subgenre that capitalized on youth-rebellion chic for a hot minute in the '60s. The California group are best known for 1967's “Blues Theme,” one of the most exhilarating songs ever-primal garage rock geared for breaking speed limits while shooting the bird to the pigs, man. Besides their trademark garage-delia with its burly, fuzz-bombed guitar tones and feral velocity, the Arrows also traded in surf rock coated in axle grease and engulfed in exhaust clouds. They're in Anaheim tonight supporting their latest album, Moving Right Along .
