Triassic Parq: The Musical

The dinosaurs from Jurassic Park sure got the fuzzy end of the lollipop. They were just doing their primal thing, happy to not be extinct, and everyone got so freaking upset. Marshall Pailet, the writer, director and composer of Triassic Parq pondered this concept in depth—and produced a musical comedy now hailed as a “hilarious, raunchy satire.” Told from the animals' perspective, this tale of love, identity and faith is rife with insanity, profanity and hot dino-on-dino action—so much, in fact, that the Chance Theater issues this warning: “This show contains adult language and major dino sexiness, and is not recommended for human children.” Characters include a Mime-a-saurus, Velociraptor of Innocence, Velociraptor of Faith, and Morgan Freeman.

Wednesdays-Sundays. Starts: Jan. 25. Continues through Feb. 24, 2013
