Splendiferously Superiffic Summer Spectacular Ice Cream Eating Challenge
Anyone out there have a strange crush on Adam Richman? There’s something about watching a Man v. Food marathon that leaves us wanting to eat—well, everything we can get our hands on. Those looking to test their skills at some competitive scarfing should check out the adorably named Splendiferously Superiffic Summer Spectacular Ice Cream Eating Challenge from Farrell’s Ice Cream Parlor. This week, from Monday to Friday, hungry folks are invited to try their hand at speed-eating a three-scoop sundae. Winning individuals and groups of four will come back to the finals in July to take on a “Pig’s Trough” (or a “Zoo” for the four-person groups). But this challenge isn’t just about gluttony—proceeds will benefit CHOC and the Henry Mayo Newhall Health Foundation.
