Orny Adams

It’s probable that you’ve never heard of Orny Adams—but you sure know his work. Born Adam Orenstein, the brazen, in-your-face comedian had been a regular appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, did some guest-spotting on The Late Show with David Letterman, and co-starred alongside Jerry Seinfeld in the 2002 flick Comedian (that one might be a tad obscure, but the point is that he’s worked alongside legends). Add to his resume a most-impressive stint writing for the Annual Emmy Broadcast not once, but twice, and you’ve got a man with one hell of a funny bone. This Wednesday, Adams takes another stand-up shot at the Irvine Improv, proving that the famous comedy chain is simply one of his many formats to showcase his off-color, riotous brand of humor.
