Ordinary Days

Life’s biggest questions going unanswered—that’s the everyday turmoil of young adults in the midst of a quarter-life crisis, the awkward and anxious period that takes teenagers into adulthood. In the midst of all that commotion and uncertainty, playwright Adam Gwon (winner of the Fred Ebb Award for Excellence in Musical Theater Songwriting) mixes in the bright lights and fast-paced environment of New York to tell a story (mostly in song) of two young couples and their search for meaning in Ordinary Days. Connected by incidental events, each character encounters funny and serendipitous experiences that help them look beyond what’s in front of them and see the bigger picture of what’s important: Love, growth and understanding.
