Bring some apple pie and drive your SUV over to this perfect American summer family evening. For several select nights, the Orange County Great Park hosts an outdoor film screening on their well-maintained grassy lawn. Pack a beach chair, a blanket, snacks and load up that flask—we mean bring some sweet tea (wink wink)—because starting at dusk, your feature presentation begins. This week, watch as the most patriotic of superheroes fights Nazis and saves the world in Captain America: The First Avenger. Rain of course cancels the event but so far, the forecast suggests an altogether lovely evening.
