With the days of Django Reinhardt long over and no traveling tribes of jazz gypsies wondering the LBC, we're lucky to have the Long Beach Caravan Trio. Though not as lightning-quick with the cat gut as Reinhardt, who benefited from the use of only three fingers on one hand, Long Beach Caravan Trio still rock an authentic, swinging, guitar-based sound made famous by the wandering Romani. And this Tuesday, the Pike Bar will be shaking things up and forgoing its usual DJ schedule in favor of some live jazz. Don't miss it.
