In Motion

For centuries, poetry has been the connecting force between word and song. Once a common practice, poetry today now belongs to the true poets at heart—like both speakers of the Two Women poetry reading. Ricki Mandeville (author of A Thin Strand of Lights) and Kate Buckley (author of A Wild Region and winner of the North American Review poetry prize) keep the art alive alongside a poet of another kind—musician Michael Ubaldini.
