They've come a long way since borrowing amps and drum kits from fellow L.A. bands to play backyard keggers. SoCal trio Funeral party is currently touring with the well-traveled Sounds, opening for them this week at the Glass House alongside Limousines and Kids at the Bar. With their high-voltage poppy-rock sound, they're a perfect addition to the bill—and with nominations for both Breakthrough Artist of the Year (UK Festival Awards) and Best Summer Session (Last.fm), they are definitely capable of stealing the show altogether. Watch out, Sounds fans, Funeral Party might just become your new favorite.
