It ain’t easy being queen. You have to act prim and proper all the time, and there's definitely no farting allowed. But Long Beach’s reigning royal, the Queen Mary, is about to throw all that tradition out to sea by hosting the Delicious Chili N Brewfest. The first (hopefully) annual celebration of items popular for causing gas is a treat for the whole family (and beer for the adults). Fill your belly with 2012 World Open Chili Champion Clark McGee’s specialty, On the Road Chili, and taste, 2003 International Chili Society World Champion Robert Dyer’s Gearjammers, among other savory delicacies. Wash it all down with the best beer our local breweries have to offer. But remember to stay classy by keeping that pinky up and excuse yourself when you break wind. You’re at the Queen Mary, after all.
