'Animal House'

Considered one of the all-time great comedies, director John Landis’ 1978 frat film was the first starring role for SNL legend John Belushi. A fall-down-funny look at the most unruly of students of Faber College’s class of 1962, the hit flick also served as the launching pad for such soon-to-be notables as Tom Hulce, Karen Allen and Kevin Bacon. Filled with zit jokes, boob flashes, cucumber-inspired seductions, untimely horse heart attacks and a homecoming parade Armageddon to rival any other, Animal House was, nonetheless, selected as a “culturally significant” film for preservation by the Library of Congress in 2001. The Delta house’s response? Toga! Toga! Toga!
