Revisit your childhood and enjoy a live ballet performance of Alice In Wonderland presented by Maple Youth Ballet at the Irvine Barclay Theatre this week. Fall into a dream with Alice as she travels to a mysterious place filled with talking flowers, an overanxious White Rabbit, a hyper Mad Hatter hosting a tea party, and the evil Queen of Hearts—along with all the other lovable characters from Lewis Carroll’s timeless story. Choreographed by the acclaimed Charles Maple, the production provides a spin on the classic by including plenty of ballet dancing, beautiful costumes, a dazzling mix of sound effects and music from Tchaikovsky, Glazunov and other composers.
