Imagine that—from the depths of college party town Fullerton sprouted a bonafide country music recording artist. But it took OC-native Peter Brandon a trip to Nashville with a bag full of demo CDs before he realized that he could make his all-American dream come true. "There is nothing like the thrill of performing live and sharing my music with others," he says. And quite a few thrills he's had in his career thus far—Brandon has shared stages with Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton, Glen Campbell, Asleep at the Wheel and many more. Tonight he returns to the Muckenthaler Cultural Center to play his smooth brand of patriotic country music—and what more appropriate venue than one of his hometown. It's where the heart is, after all.
