The Southern California tattoo culture celebrates its High Holy Day with the annual Musink festival, a weekend-long celebration of some of the best things in life: tattoos and music. Starting off the festivities on Friday is a tattoo competition (happening daily throughout Sunday), dozens of vendors and live music from Love Canal, The Vandals and Descendents. The balls-out awesomeness continues on Saturday with The Transplants, a Miss Musink competition and performance by Tech N9ne. Finally, if you're still standing, Sunday rolls out with sets from Strife, H2O, Judge and Gorilla Biscuits. There's also more than 300 tattoo artists from around the world (and quite a few piercing professionals) on hand available to set you up with a souvenir to keep for life.
