Philadelphia native and middle child Steve Simeone honed his storytelling talents early on: competing with his brothers for jokes at the dinner table. But even after he landed "grown-up" jobs at banks or with the Philadelphia Eagles, the call to the stage kept nagging his soul. Enter Pauly Shore as the comic fairy godfather, who met Simeone during the Funniest Comic in Philly competition (Shore was a celebrity judge) and whisked him away to Los Angeles. Now a regular headliner, Simeone hops around California's famous improv clubs, showcasing his charismatic brand of comedy and tales about growing up in the '80s—even when he turns from the mic because he can't stop laughing, he exudes geniality.
