'Tis the season, babeuh—time for that jolly fat guy who brought cheer and joy to America’s good kids in exchange for
plenty of milk and fried peanut butter and banana sandwiches, and of course we’re talking about Elvis Presley,
particularly the later Elvis! But Scot Bruce and Mike Albert—more reincarnators than anything so crass as
“impersonators,” with one guy for each Elvisian era—deliver an Elvisthemed holiday show hitting everything from the
bannedfromthewaistdown early cuts to the deep gospel songs the King loved so dearly. So sure, you could stay
home and shoot the TV set out the next time you see a Mannheim Steamroller commercial, or you could pull on the
jumpsuit and the Santa hat and truly take care of business.
