Guitar virtuosos Jorge Strunz and Ardeshir Farah both began playing as lads in their respective countries of birth in Costa Rica and Iran, and upon meeting for the first time in the US they instantly bonded over their mutual love and talent for the stringed instrument. Since then, Grammy nominations and collaborations with artists Jackson Browne and Joan Baez have garnered them praise for their synthesis of Latin and Middle Eastern styles of folk music. Performing with other instrumentalists on violin and percussion, the duo let their fingers fly as they let loose a fury of serene folk energy through heavy improvisation. Playing tonight with fellow acoustic wonders Pasion Gitana at the Coach House.
