One of the cutest feel-good movies of the '90s gets new life in the reincarnation Broadway smash hit Sister Act. Produced by Whoopi Goldberg, this musical romp features an original score of Motown, soul and disco-inspired tracks from Oscar and Grammy-winning composer Alan Menkin and Academy Award nominee Glenn Slater. Follow nightclub songbird Deloris Van Cartier as she hides from the mob through a witness protection program—in a convent. Bumping heads with the strict Mother Superior and the nuns' uptight lifestyle, Deloris eventually lends some unorthodox inspiration to the convent's choir. Running for just two weeks, come see what theater critics hail as "In a word, divine."
