Celtic rockers Flogging Molly are touted as one of the most influential punk acts in recent history, inciting sing-along drunken fervors and embarking on various international tours. While many musicians would kick back and enjoy reaching this level of success, Flogging Molly bassist Nathen Maxwell followed his heart and branched out to create new music. With the support of his punk rock brethren of more than fifteen years, Maxwell explores a new frontier of sound that threads aspects of reggae and folk rock. His side project, The Original Bunny Gang, has a knack for making music that's laced with groove and goes great with a cold beer. Watch the seasoned musician step up to the mic and strap on a guitar at Alex’s Bar—and be on the lookout for a few guests to join him onstage.
