Steel Panther is the hardest-working '80s heavy metal resurgence group who relentlessly plays shows around SoCal, working hard to keep the dream alive. Gearing up to strike out on a national tour next month, Michael Starr, Satchel, Lexxi Foxx and Stix Zadinia (not their real names, in case you were wondering), rock the House of Blues stage one more time. A Steel Panther show is nearly as much bad-ass rock theater as it is hair-metal throwback. Under the guise that they missed their big break back in the days of Nikki and Axl, Steel Panther aren't just another group of dudes who look like chicks. They even have a solid catalogue of original songs (with titles like "Eatin' Ain't Cheatin'" and "17 Girls in a Row") that epitomize all that was glorious of the days of teased hair and zebra headbands.
