Sixteen to 60, blind, crippled or crazy, it made no difference. Back in the day, every band in the British Invasion (Zep, Moodies, Stones, Who, Beatles, Floyd) were a breath of fresh air and generally awesome. With one huge exception: Freddie and the Dreamers remain the most dickless rock/pop outfit in history. (The Brits justified it as payback for the fucking Osmonds.) Fifty years on, the Limeys are finally making local amends.
