On the first Sunday of every month, Bowers Museum opens its doors for free admission through sponsorships from the Target Corporation and the Nicholas Endowment. Families can enjoy a themed festival as well as admission to both Bowers and the Kidseum. 2013 kicks off with the Hollywood Film and Fashion festival, a chance to experience the history of cinema and its costumes. Bring the family for a day of Hollywood glamour, art projects, music and a chance to see the museum's current exhibit featuring 43 couture costumes created by famed British costumer, Cosprop Ltd., worn by 30 actors in 25 different films. But remember, only the first 1,500 visitors are allowed to see the specially-ticketed exhibits.
