While you shouldn’t accidentally mistake this show as a Cirque du Soliel extravaganza (one is “gold” and one is “sun,” so there’s that), the performing arts market has plenty of room for more pretzel-twisted, neon-swathed bodies and time-space continuum-defying human pyramids. This time around, all of that exotic ecstasy of music, dance and art is performed by the Golden Dragon Acrobats, a troupe once nominated for Drama Desk Awards for Best Choreography and Most Unique Theatrical Experience. Besides, you can see this show for just twenty bucks. Take that, Mr. Sun!
