The Garage Theatre presents its 9th Annual Melodrama and Ice Cream Social, Steam-Powered Rocket Ride to the Moon, also known as Ground Control to Ging and Rob. Written and directed by Jamie Sweet, this wacky, other-worldly adventure features heroes, villains, rocket ships, a mad scientist, and plenty of hilarious hijinks as you root for good guy Rod McGirdlebutt and sexy sidekicks Trisha La Rue and Dixie Troobaloo in their battle against the wickedly vile Ian Sidious. And if the character names are any indication of foreshadowing, we wager you’re in for more fun than a satanic spat with Roger Chillingworth.
