Each October, the Queen Mary (with about 50 recorded deaths aboard the vessel) flaunts her haunted reputation with the annual Dark Harbor festival. More than 200 monsters, zombies, nightmarish clowns and other decrepit things stalk the grounds hunting for unsuspecting visitors to scare. And scare you, they will. High-pitched screams constantly pierce the night sky at this high-anxiety Halloween event. There's food, photo ops, cocktails, an RIP lounge and live music, but if you're especially brave, tour one of the six twisted, shadowy mazes filled with lurking savages, dismembered body parts and scenes of doom and gore—trust us, you want to bring a friend or two, and definitely don't be first to lead your group in.
