Bert Kreischer, or to those with fancy-schmancy cable, Bert the Conqueror from the Travel Channel, attempts to overcome what many consider the most daunting task: stand-up comedy. Though he got off to a most impressive start—during an extended stint in college, Rolling Stone declared him "the number one party animal in the nation." After that prestigious honor, he went on to host various television shows, including his own standup special titled Bert Kreischer: Comfortably Dumb. Check him out in Irvine this week as he headlines a bill that also includes the comedy stylings of Barbara Gray, most notably of Silverlake's monthly Space Boners show.
