Damn the current culinary trends—we still love old school snacks like fondue and shrimp cocktail served in a martini glass. Presented by the Orange County Museum of Art, Retro California Food looks back to the great tastes of the '70s and '80s. Led by teaching artist Jeff Venier, the evening celebrates the kitschy fads of our past (Jell-O 1-2-3? We can only dream!), and serves up tasty bites from California's not-so-long-ago history. The program sometimes fills up, so don't forget to register—and though not required, wearing obnoxious vintage clothing totally scores extra awesome points. And there's wine, too!
