At this point, the last remaining member of Sublime currently in Sublime with Rome is bassist Eric Wilson—and though vocalist Rome Ramirez has the same sweetly clear singing voice as Bradley Nowell, rumors are abundant that the group may change their moniker in the future. Former drummer Bud Gaugh (of the original Sublime, who left this incarnation in December) thinks it never should have been, and expressed some regret of performing songs under that name without Bradley. Whatever the case, Sublime with Rome has a strong following, both of old school Sublime fans and those who love the group's latest material. Catch them this week to hear bouncing, ska-tinged tunes like "Panic" and "Take It or Leave It," as well as a huge chunk of Sublime's beloved catalogue.
