Another summer, another round of acrobats, clowns and angry PETA protesters. The Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus comes back to the Honda Center and brings with them an over-the-bigtop spectacular celebrating the Year of the Dragon. Watch aerialists fly through the air on the world's only double-decker trapeze; a perilous act featuring lions and tigers together, and Shaolin Warriors demonstrating ancient Kung Fu martial arts and jaw-dropping feats of superhuman strength. Circus favorites return as well, like daredevil motorcyclists in the giant Globe of Steel and a majestic parade of Ringling's Asian elephants. Add cotton candy, popcorn and sparkling, light-up plastic toys and this is a fantastic day full of family-friendly decadence—as long as you can get past the impassioned activists outside.
