Despite impressive advances in technology, can man say he's outpaced his primal self? Or are such notions mere illusion? The Garage Theatre in Long Beach is celebrating its 50th production—come witness the company's commitment to independent art and enjoy its production of Hunter Gatherers. Directed by Matt Anderson, the story follows two couples, 30-somethings who've known each other since high school, as they sit down for dinner. Faced with a love quadrangle, watch as some characters retreat to their animal selves. It promises to bring the laughs, and by the sound of it, possible poo flinging.
