Many afternoons are spent either watching movies or pondering the meaning of life. Combine both activities with a viewing of Raiders of the Lost Ark, Stephen Spielberg's 1981 film that inspired epic female fantasies known as the Indiana Jones series. As our hunky archaeologist protagonist travels the world wearing a leather jacket and a fedora, hunting for his woman and attempting to save the the lost Ark of the Covenant, a relic foretold to hold the key to humanly existence, he discovers some valuable lessons about life, love and livin' dangerously in the name of science. Swoon as he cracks his whip, imagine how you'd comfort him in the presence of snakes, and learn along with him as he discovers that a life spent searching for meaning is not lived to the fullest.
