The name Diego Garcia can refer to an atoll in the Indian Ocean used as a satellite station and emergency landing strip for the space shuttle. But today, we're writing about the Latin folk singer and former Elefant frontman whose going to grace the Constellation Room with his presence. His sound is laconic, lonely and breezy—not unlike a desert island—and his lyrical material deals with love and loss. He once said that he recorded his solo work in an attempt to "heal his heart."
