This weekend marks the very anticipated Long Beach Pride Festival, set to take over the fair city once again for positivity, acceptance, and mayhem. Along with local shops and bars proudly hanging rainbow flags and becoming individual raging parties all weekend long, the main draws are the festival and parade. Gays, bisexuals, straights, transgenders, drag queens, cross dressers and everyone in between are invited to come drink, dance and be merry—this year's main stage headliner is none other than Queen Latifah. Sunday's parade along Ocean Blvd. starts off nice and late (10:30 a.m.), and includes DJs, pep rallies, festive floats, awards, and even more dancing.
