The tagline reads "Remember Prohibition?" but, thankfully, most of us missed that cruel, cruel time when decent folks couldn't legally catch a proper buzz. As far as retro decades, though, the '20s and early '30s had some darling fashion, swingin' music and excellent dance crazes. Harvelles in Long Beach pays homage to the era with Jack's Tea Room, a weekly happening of cabaret, comedy, burlesque, jazz and dancing. They even provide free Charleston and Swing lessons, should your moves be a little rusty. So go celebrate your right to get hammered whenever you so choose. Two drink minimum? No problem!
