It's hard to believe that of all the bands to emerge from the era of Nirvana, the Melvin's are one of the few to still be going strong. Though the band never quite achieved the glittering status of their grunge protoges, the Melvins were a favorite of Nirvana who recorded a seven inch split with them in 1991.
