The 15th annual Pacific Playwrights Festival at South Coast Repertory takes submissions including full-length plays, musicals, translations, and adaptations. Aspiring playwrights have the chance to hear their work read and receive professional feedback, or festival heads may even feature your play, should they fancy it, in a full-on production. The three-day theater festival is a major national showcase for new plays; previous fests included award-winning stories such as Anna in the Tropics by Nilo Cruz and Rabbit Hole by David Lindsay-Abaire.
