For this week's classic film night, the Regency Theater is screening Blood In, Blood Out, the story of three members of the East LA gang Vatos Locos, who are related by blood and controlled by destiny. Half-brothers Paco and Cruz and their cousin Miklo find themselves living a life of violence filled with death, drugs, sex, and, ultimately, forgiveness. Blood In, Blood Out shows how the men’s choices affect the paths of their lives yet continue to keep them all intertwined. Directed by Academy Award-winner Taylor Hackford, this 1993 film stars Damian Chapa (Miklo), Jesse Borrego (Cruz) and Benjamin Bratt (Paco).
