Songwriter Matt Adams was greeted with a warm, smiling reception upon his return to Southern California. Within just a few months of moving back from San Fran, sister paper LA Weekly heralded his band, The Blank Tapes, as one of the top five garage rock outfits in the area. And this month, Adams and company scored the coveted Monday night residency at Detroit. With his original song tab now in the triple-digits, Adams has a lot of lo-fi, groovy, sunshine rock to go around, so catch them this month as they share the bill with both touring and home bands each week, this session features The Sweet Sweet Things, Now, and Lucid Doom.
