One of the changes that came to the old Galaxy Theatre—now the Observatory —is a monthly artist-in-residency gig in the Constellation Room. This month, electro pop band Polaris at Noon (AKA Jason Suwito) moves in on Monday nights, and it promises to be a tremendous evening of electronic dance rock. Suwito’s a master remixer (check out his techno grooves of “Pumped Up Kicks” and White Arrows’ “Get Gone”) as well as a top songcrafter in his own right—last summer’s En Pointe, a five-track EP of original material is not only danceable and tranceable, but kicks some serious ass. Guest performances include Hyena, AudioDax, Tapioca and the Flea and more, so don’t miss it.
