Oh spare me. Any Chef that will not prepare to a customer's preference will never stay in business. You know-when guests PAY to eat food at your business. My honey had E-Coli as a teen and never eats his beloved beef less than ,medium. Oops two paying customers not spending at your business. Oh, you don't care we all know about your fit to the Yelper. I don't Yelp but sure know telling a customer they are wrong is...wrong.
Thus is the reason for terrible american cuisine. The sense of entitlement and I know better than you attitude of most guests these days is the direct result of mass chain feeder farms that serve terrible food and are completely alright with a customer breaking down their own recipe, and when they hate it... you don't pay for it. Just because a chef chooses to stand up for what he does and what he's passionate about makes him wrong in this sense? The customer is always right is the statement that has fault these days. The fact that you've already written this place off is sad, specifically because there are tons of items that are not beef based to enjoy. Oh and for the record, if you don't like what you ordered at The Playground, YOU DON'T PAY FOR THAT ITEM! And being a regular here, business is booming and promising only to get better. Nothing but compliments for a brash man willing to stand up for what his art and passion is, food. I highly encourage you to come in fully skeptical and be wowed by what He does.
