Shut up your Blackberry, throw your iPad in the cupboard, and travel back to a simpler time as you gaze upon the impressive collection of more than 60 paintings, drawings and sculptures from the Victorian era on display at “The Queen’s Gallery” exhibit at Muzeo. Featuring works by celebrated luminaries of Victorian art from the private Collection of Dr. Howard and Linda Knohl, the exhibit includes works by Alma-Tedema, Burne-Jones, Leighton, Maud and Wright. But “The Queen's Gallery” isn’t limited to paintings; the exhibit also features more than 400 personal and decorative objects from the British Empire. From walking sticks and weapons to music boxes and fashion accessories, each piece offers a unique social commentary and provides a window into this significant period in history, when simplicity reigned alongside Queen Victoria.
