Zombie Walk

Downtown Long Beach

Thousands of people dressed as the walking dead shuffling around Pine Street attempting to not only break the world record for largest Zombie Walk but also the record for most people dancing to "Thriller" in one place? Now that's a Halloween party. Join legions of local undead at the annual Long Beach Zombie Walk for this all-day corpse-fest as downtown turns into a veritable playground for the brain-munching set. There's a haunted house (natch), zombie art show, make-up stations, beer tents (lovely)—then, at 7 p.m., possibly the largest group of people ever break it down to MJ's Halloween hit. At 8 p.m., the Zombie Walk begins. Damn, we love this holiday.
