What a deliciously nostalgic way to kick start Halloween weekend. Edgar Wright's zombie apocalypse classic Shaun of the Dead is being screened under the stars as part of Long Beach's new series Downtown Drive-In. That's right, just like the old days, drive the pickup in and watch a good ol' horror flick from the comfort of the front (or back) seat. Movie snacks are available from food trucks, or, you can order something tasty right from your window from a Long Beach Roller Derby dame. Which you should totally do. Just think: a drive-in movie, girls on roller skates, zombies eating people...it doesn't get much better than this.
