Making his West Coast debut, Colin Dunne brings his first full-length solo show to the Irvine Barclay Theatre this week. Nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award in 2010 and routinely celebrated at international art festivals, Dunne's work is a wholly unique experience the avid theater or dance lover is advised not to miss. Against the backdrop of archival film clips of dancers dating back as far as the 1930s, Dunne creates a direct link from past to present with his own dance style, an homage to Irish step dance. Combining film, dance, theater and performing arts, “Out of Time” is both fascinating and playful—and in town for one night only.
