Seeing Dengue Fever live is a once in a lifetime music experience. Drawing on Cambodia's 1960's obsession with all things rock, this band, fronted by Cambodian native Chomm Nimol, rocks loungy, surfy numbers accompanied by lyrics sung almost entirely in Khmer. Nimol is lively and compelling winning audiences over with beautiful vocals most western ears aren't used to. Not to be missed.
