America’s premier pop-culture satirist, “Weird Al” Yankovic brings his “White & Nerdy” self to the Costa Mesa fairgrounds to kick off OC Fair events. The singer/comedian, famous for send-ups of popular songs by everyone from Nirvana to Vanilla Ice, is set to “Perform This Way” as part of his Apocalypse tour, coinciding with the release of his new album by the same name. In his new act, Yankovic skewers pop stars such as Gaga, T.I., the White Stripes and Miley Cyrus. And if you don’t get your fill of summer fun there, concert ticketholders can use their stubs to get into the fair for free, but just on that day.
