It would appear from the tone of the review that the critic has never read a comic book and does not enjoy the sci-fi genre. If she had taken the stick out of her ass long enough to actually enjoy the movie instead of postulating psycho babble issues like so many red herrings in a sea of irrelevent nitpickings, she would have realized that this brought the flavor of the comic to the screen perfectly. Ryan Reynolds (while not my first choice) nails the character of Hal Jordan in a way that pleasantly surprised and delighted me. The entire cast was spot on. The plot was consistent and easy to follow even for a moron (but only if you were actually paying attention.) The special effects were spectacular. All in all, Warner Bros. is to be congratulated for setting a new bench mark for super hero movies.
