When a bands debut album is accompanied by as much prerelease hype as 2006s Whatever People Say I Am, Thats What Im Not by Arctic Monkeysit sold more than 360,000 copies in its first week, and I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor may actually still be stuck in your headconventional wisdom says theres nowhere to go but down. You dont really hear many people talking about the Vines or the Hives these days, right? However, the youthful (each member is still only 25) U.K. foursome have managed to avoid dropping off by steadily putting out well-received material. Their fourth full-length, the cheerfully titled Suck It and See, is due out the first week of June and is the impetus behind their current U.S. tour.
