The '90s ushered in a unique trend in local music. It was during this time reggae meets punk bands such as Voodoo Glow Skulls threatened to be really big. Though their ultimate success was modest by No Doubt standards, they never went away—even after the hype surrounding the genre dissipated. Now, a decade later, they continue to rock high-energy, punk-infused, brass-accompanied quirky ska jams.
